The Commission Process

1) Inquiry + Availability

Use the contact form or email kelli@kellikroneberger.com to submit a commission inquiry with your preferred size, deadline (if any), and a few photos or details of the space. I’ll confirm availability and share a recommended direction based on what you send.

You’ll send:

• A few photos of the room (wide shots + closeups of finishes)

• Any inspiration images and color preferences

• Preferred size range + timeline

2) Proposal + Booking

You’ll receive a proposal including the scope, size, timeline, and pricing. To reserve your commission on my calendar, a non-refundable deposit is required.

3) Creative Direction (Palette + Moodboard)

Once booked, I’ll create a clear direction for your piece - color palette, general composition notes, and texture level - so we’re aligned before I begin.

If you’re not sure what works best, I can recommend sizing and placement based on your wall and furniture layout.

4) Creation + Progress Updates

I begin painting and share progress updates at key milestones. This keeps the process collaborative while still allowing room for artistry and flow.

Small refinements are welcome during the process (tone, warmth/coolness, contrast). Because each piece is original, major style shifts after creation begins may require an additional fee.

5) Final Approval + Remaining Balance

When the piece is complete, you’ll receive final photos for approval. The remaining balance is due prior to pickup, shipment, or delivery.

6) Delivery + Installation

Your artwork is carefully packaged and shipped insured, or local pickup/delivery can be arranged when available. I’ll also share simple hanging guidance so it’s easy to install.
